Although the Optimus 3D has been introduced globally for quite some time the smartphone has just made its debut in Romania.

The Optimus 3D is now available in Romania via Orange and Vodafone carriers but also through major online retailers and authorized sellers.

It looks like both Romanian carriers have troubles in updating their websites with the newly launched Optimus 3D but the phone can be purchased from various online retailers for about $800 outright.

However the good news doesn't stop here as the phone is also one of the most powerful thanks to its dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 TI OMAP4430 processor clocked at 1GHz which is complemented by a PowerVR SGX540 GPU (graphics processing unit).

Software-wise the phone is powered by Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system but LG recently confirmed that the smartphone will receive its Gingerbread upgrade sometime in October.

Furthermore the Optimus 3D packs 512 MB RAM and 8 GB of internal memory as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB.

The phone will be delivered with dual 5-megapixel stereoscopic 3D cameras so users will be able to capture crystal-clear 3D images and record 720p HD 3D videos.According to the manufacturer the Optimus 3D's 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery should provide up to 450 hours of standby or up to 13 hours of talk time.
