Android 2.3 Available For Motorola ATRIX In The Korean Market


Motorola Mobility has just announced the availability of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system flavor for its Motorola ATRIX devices in the Korean market.

The company started to deliver the new software update to its users since a few days ago and will continue the process for the next few weeks until all handsets are updated.

The new software update will offer a better experience to all users along with an improved user interface and a wide range of other enhancements.

According to Motorola as soon as they install the new Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS on their ATRIX handsets users will also benefit from smarter personal information management.

Some of the other features and improvements the new OS update will bring forth include easier access to frequently-used apps and to favorite contacts, as well as better social networking capabilities.

Motorola explains “With the Android 2.3 upgrade users can arrange frequently-used applications on the Quick Launch Bar at the bottom of the home screen place contacts in groups and send emails or texts to people in groups or based on a calendar invitee list” .

The upgrade enables MOTOBLUR users to check uploaded photos videos and comments on social networking services on the go through the MOTO Gallery.

At the same time the Android 2.3 Gingerbread software update will deliver application folders complemented by improved email editing options and better dial buttons.

Motorola also announced that Korean users interested in installing the new software update on their Motorola ATRIX devices will be able to do so either themselves or by going to a Motorola customer care centre.

The software update was made available on Motorola's support website and can be easily downloaded over the air through Wi-Fi networks.
